If you're a first-time homebuyer in Toronto, Marc is a terrific choice of realtor. We found buying a first home in Toronto to be extremely stressful - it is easy to succumb to panic and/or despair, lose sight of what you need, and start bidding frantically on homes that are completely unsuitable for your family. Marc did a fabulous job of keeping our focus on what we really needed - a 3 bedroom home on a quiet street for our 3 young kids - and on what we wanted - to stay in the neighbourhood where we were renting (ideally on the same street!). We ended up buying a detached 3 bedroom house on our street in the Woodbine area for under the asking price - and we can say with 100% certainty that it would never have happened but for Marc. We had decamped to Nova Scotia when the house came on the market and were no longer actively looking in Toronto. We expected the house to sell well over our budget so we didn't bother to put in an offer. But Marc knew it was exactly what we wanted. He followed up with the selling agent on offer day. No offers had come in. Marc contacted us immediately, we had a friend see it that day, and we had an accepted offer that night. Marc made the closing process extremely easy and hassle-free, even arranging for asbestos testing to allay our (unfounded) concerns. So if you're a first time homebuyer in Toronto, we can say with confidence that with Marc, you are in very good hands!
